World Games 2009 - Kaohsiung - Chinese Taipei - Welcome Message WPA
 WPA - Welcomes you,
The World Pool-Billiard Association is delighted it will have the opportunity to showcase its discipline at the 2009 World Games in Kaohsiung. Together with Snooker and Carom in the World Confederation of Billiards Sports, we promise to make Billiards one of the highlight sports on the World Games program.
Pool will present 32 of its finest cueists from all continents, featuring 16 male and 16 female athletes playing the discipline of 9-Ball. The challenge for gold will be keenly contested.
I wish all athletes the very best in their bid for victory, may all your hard work preparing for these Games be rewarded. Finally, a special thank you for all the federations who have supported their athletes to be represented.
